The EIT Health DigiDiab project brought together international partners to pilot and evaluate the digital diabetes assistant GlucoTab across several European regions. Over the course of the project, partners from Sweden, Denmark, Spain and Czechia collaborated to test the solution in real clinical settings and assess its effectiveness. The consortium held regular meetings, including a project board meeting in Graz, to review progress, share findings, and plan next steps. As the project nears completion, it has generated valuable insights into implementing digital tools in diabetes care. GlucoTab itself is a clinical decision-support solution designed to assist healthcare professionals in managing diabetes more efficiently and safely. Overall, the project demonstrated how coordinated European collaboration can advance digital health innovation and improve patient care.
