Winner in the Commercial Applications category<\/strong><\/p>\n

The team of researchers run by Professor Thomas Pieber and Dr Peter Beck from HEALTH, the JOANNEUM RESEARCH Institute for Biomedicine and Health Sciences, received the research award \u2018HTI: Human Technology Interface\u2019 for the province of Styria in the \u2018Economic Applications\u2019 category in May 2014 for the development of GlucoTab\u00ae. \u2018This is a fantastic award for our work,\u2019 Pieber enthused. Beck thanked the interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians and technicians.<\/p>\n

The award was presented by the Styrian province\u2019s Councillor for Science and Research, Christopher Drexler. \u2018This exemplary cooperation between different research institutions shows Styria\u2019s strengths as a research location,\u2019 stated the councillor.<\/p>\n
